Go to Greek Islands in the West Loop before the show. They have free valet and great food.
We parked on Wabash 2 blks. N of Congress and had a very good Italian dinner at Pazzo just N of there.
Cafecito down the street on Congress was a cheap, fast, but delicious and authentic Cuban treat.
I wore a sweater, flip-flops, etc..
Take a Michigan Avenue bus or the Brown Line.

If you want a good steak nearby the theater before you attend the ballet, head to Rosebud Prime! Classy establishment with an attentive and accommodating staff. Wonderful food.
We ate before but eyeballed a few spots between union station and the event that looked hopeful. After the event thought (9pm-ish) The hopeful spots around the Chi stock exchange were all closed :-( Best bet was to keep going to Adams St and hit the Elephant, kitchen is open until 11pm
The weather was bitter cold. I wore casual business, sport jacket and long winter coat.
