Check for alternate parking options. The garage suggested is run down with broken elevators and you have to park on the 4th level.
Although we don't tend to dine out before or after plays, there are several places to eat right there by the theatre.

Get there early because street parking only. Sunday's is free parking.

If you are a little shorter than the average sit further up rather than in second or third row: the sitting area doesn't have enough incline to allow full view of the stage from the lower levels.
Our usual restaurant, Simply It, closed for remodeling so limited options nearby for dinner before theatre.

We never could find the open gate to the parking garage mentioned on the website but there was plenty of free parking on Halsted, just south of Fullerton.

Park for free at the parking garage across from the old children's memorial hospital. You pull in at a traffic light. Nice neighborhood, nice theater, restaurants are just a couple of doors down.
The Greenouse Theatre Center has a nice selection of local adult beverages, sodas, & snacks available. We opted for a post-show dinner at one of the restaurants suggested on the Greenhouse website: Trattoria Gianni. Nice ambiance, good service, wonderful food, reasonable prices.
