I went at 8pm on a Saturday night. I had no problem finding parking but went early for dinner across the street.

The weather was Indoor. I wore Comfortable clothing.
Dined at Miquel's before the show. Wonderful ambience and delicious food.
The weather was a little cool. I wore jacket, blouse, and jeans.
The weather was warm . I wore a summer dress, my husband slacks and a nice Hawaiian shirt. Very California casual..
Get there early to enjoy the onstage pub! Music and refreshments.
Village Pizzeria in the next block south from Lambs'. Catch Happy Hour, order the Brussel sprouts and garlic knots half price before 6 pm.
I wore Medium dressy most people wore nice clothing.
You can take in outside beverages if you transfer them into the theatre's cups.
Do not park in the public parking lot 3 blocks south of the theatre; they charge $5 per half hour!
I wore a sweater and jeans. .

Definitely arrive early. Parking on the street is free after 6pm, however it's scarce, so arrive early. Supposedly there's a lot nearby, but couldn't find it. After we parked we did notice valet parking for a good price.
American Rhythm
Be sure to get your ticket validated if you park in the garage nearby!! We didn't know but the attendant helped us out. Would have been $30 otherwise.
Arrive early for dinner...there's several yummy options or get a coffee next door or visit the candy shop nearby.
We found free parking at a metered spot not far from the theater. The metered parking is free after 6 pm.
We dined at Vigilucci's before the show. They have a great Happy Hour menu, and if you sit at the bar you get a free charcuterie plate. The meatballs are not to be missed. Our entire check for three drinks and the appetizers was under $25.
We ate at Panera before show. TheFuzziwig's Candy Factory was a tasty treat afterwards.
Bring quarters for meters. Very crowded over holiday weekend.
The weather was Beautiful, Labor Day weekend 2pm show. I wore Dress shoes. Next time, I will bring good walking shoes to enjoy strolling on nearby beach & lovely neighborhoods.
Parking was a breeze about 3 blocks from the theatre. Plenty of street parking and meters after 6 are free. We went to a weeknight session.
