About Broward Center for the Performing Arts - Amaturo Theater
The Amaturo Theater at Broward Center for the Performing Arts is a 590-seat space that hosts lectures, dances, children’s theater, chamber music, multicultural performances and much more. This warm, intimate theater in the downtown riverfront area of Fort Lauderdale boasts excellent acoustics and superior sightlines from every seat, and has hosted such prestigious events as Slow Burn Theatre’s recent production of Big Fish, the Miami International Piano Festival, Capitol Steps, Symphony of the Americas and Gold Coast Jazz Society.
