The weather was cool. I wore jeans, t-shirt.
Parking at the Dolby Theatre parking with El Capitan validation is only $2.00 Hollywood Blvd is always blasting with excitement on your way o the movie! Dress casual or whatever theme you choose, always lots to do in the area. Ghirardelli ice cream shop is next door to The El Capitan. Always a treat to browse and pick up Disney souvenirs, grab a bite or a delicious sundae????
Like any Theather concession adds up. I'd advise to eat before going. Defiantly park in the highland parking structure they validate at El Capitan or park in the underground Theather parking, it's valet and only $12. I paid $20
Park valet across the street at the Hollywood & Highland parking structure.
Made reservations at Miceli's Italian restaurant for after the show. The pizzas are yummy!
Park across street at Hollywood and Highland complex for $2.00 with Theater validation.
We ate at Mel's Drive In around the corner on Highland.
I wore Swear suit.
Traffic is heavy in Hollywood, so I did appreciate the Traffic Officers directing traffic.
Parking is available in the Hollywood/Highland lot - theater validates ($2 for 4 hours) but it's $1 for every additional 15 minutes after, so maybe Uber if you were planning on going to dinner or shopping too.
Go to Ghiradelli's next door for ice cream!!
The weather was cool. I wore a sweater, because the theater is a little chilly (great when there's a ton of people seeing the film but we had a small crowd) .
The best parking option is in the Hollywood & Highland parking structure across the street. $2 for 4 hours with El Capitan validation.
1. 110 North to 101 North
2. Exit Cahuenga-LEFT
3. RIGHT on Franklin
4. LEFT on Highland (Highland curves to the left)
5. Immediately after you make that left on Highland, you should see:
Johnny Grant Way- turn right (it will look like you are pulling in a HoTEL but drive in to park underground and then follow the signs to walk to the El Capitan.)
Park at Hollywood and Highland parking structure and partial validation for 4 hours is offered. (final cost about $8). OR if you live near a metro station, take the red line and it comes out right across the street.
The parking across the street is the way to go. It is about a block from the theater, but you can also have your parking validated and only pay 1/2 the cost. The way to go!!
Use the El Capitan parking on Highland. When you validate it's only $2 for 4hours. I used the valet service and it was only $10 when validated. I didn't want to get lost.
