La Mirada tickets give discounts to local restaurants. My fave is 15% of The Elephant Bar.

The weather was hot. I wore nice casual, but the La Mirada theater at 2pm is surprisingly casual. There was a mix of casual to formal..

I wore a dress and cardigan, a bit classier since it's the theater..

There are some basic concessions available at intermission, but I highly recommend having dinner before attending. There's a Panera and Flame Broiler in the same shopping center if you need something quick. Finish your Starbucks before arriving cuz you won't be able to take it inside the lobby.

Parking is free and plentiful! Especially behind the theater, it never fills up.

Note that the Will Call/Box Office is located just on one side of the building even though there are two entrances in to the lobby which could be slightly confusing.

The staff at the theatre are about the friendliest, without being pushy or overly intrusive, that I have ever seen at a larger theatre! Congrats to the House Manager, Box Office Manager and front of house staff for being so awesome.

Stuff to keep in mind: * Bring lots of tissues (you will cry, or someone next to you will) * Snacks in the lobby are from the $2-$10 price range depending. We brought our own and ate them during intermission outside. * You have enough time to make a trip to your car during the 15 minute intermission. * The lobby is pretty big and cozy.
