Urban Stages Theatre

Urban Stages is an award-winning, not-for-profit Off-Broadway Theatre Company founded in 1984. Over the past 30 years, Urban Stages has produced over 70 productions, including works by Drama Desk and Obie Award nominees, as well as a Pulitzer Prize finalist. Urban Stages is devoted to developing and producing works from new playwrights of diverse cultural backgrounds. The main stage, a 74-seater in Chelsea, hosts staged readings, workshops, community outreach programs and full-scale productions.
