Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a paid, ticketed adult. Kids tickets are not transferable to adults under any circumstances. Comfortable shoes and clothes are recommended. Since summer evenings are sometimes chilly, we suggest bringing jackets. There are bathrooms and snack bars inside the amphitheater. Coffee, hot chocolate, soft drinks, candy, popcorn, and cookies are available for purchase. Picnic tables are available throughout the park on a first-come, first-served basis. You'll probably want to arrive no later than 6:00pm to have time for a leisurely picnic before the show starts promptly at 8:00pm. Occasionally the City of Oakland cancels performances due to fire danger or poor air quality. If this happens, Goldstar customer service will contact you with information on how to reschedule for a subsequent performance.
