Eating at Feinstein's got us upgraded seats, and valet parking at the Hotel Nikko was both convenient and secure.

Dine somewhere else before you go, and use the $20 food/beverage charge for desserts or drinks. The food on the new menu is pretty bad.

Powell Street Bart station is a short but steep walk away. (Took me about five minutes at an easy pace.)

You do need to purchase $20+. Drinks or food. Their food is okay...I always get the charcuterie and cheese plate which is good. Not pleased with any other of their offerings. Keep in mind also that they add 18% gratuity to all bills so no need to tip.Their drinks are good as well.

Food was very good as was the service, but being required to spend $20.00 cover per person plus 18% tip is unsettling.

Not all the area parking is expensive, folks. Go down 2 blocks to the O'Farrell garage across from Macy's and it's $1/hour after 6pm and if you stay longer than 3 hours you even get $2 off!

There is a $20 food and beverage minimum per ticket. Also the seating is a little cozy. The tables are small and close together.

Parking at the Mason/O'Farrell parking structure (kitty corner to Nikko Hotel) was convenient ($22 for nearly four hours) although the garage was crowded. The biggest problem is driving in the downtown area to get to the parking structure because of one-way streets and road construction. Give yourself at least another 40 minutes.
