If you are in the area early, dinner is great at the Market Broiler seafood restaurant (great food/reasonable prices)

The weather was hot outside, but cool AC inside. I wore women might want to bring a shawl if AC gets too cold .

From the outside, the theater (Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center) did not look like a theater. I passed it by initially. Only a small sign with the name of the show finally alerted me to the venue. Plenty of free parking was available in the Center's lot.

I was impressed with the concessions -- not overpriced. I enjoyed coming early and having a glass of wine in the lobby.

NOT FAMILIAR WITH SIMI VALLEY AND COULDN'T FIND THE RESTAURANT THAT WAS RECOMENDED. MY FAULT...I SHOULD HAVE LOOKED UP THE ADDRESS AND NOT LISTENED TO MY SON. HE SUGGESTED "THE HAT" FOR THE BEST PASTRAMI SANDWICH EVER. I GOT DISGUSTED AND WE GOT BACK ON THE FREEWAY AND CHOSE FRIDAY'S IN PORTER RANCH. IT WAS LOUSY AND WHEN I GOT HOME I WAS STILL HUNGRY; SO, I MADE MYSELF AN ICE CREAM SUNDAE.

Or, add your own... Red's on Cochran Street has the best BBQ. If going before the show, leave plenty of time. They are always crowded and there is usually a wait. Well worth it. If you see an afternoon show and get to Red's at around 5PM you will be seated immediately. By 6PM, the place is mobbed.
