The weather was a little cold and chilly.. I wore sweater, coat..
it is never easier to find street parking in Berkeley, especially around the campus. Arrive early - earlier than you think you should!
We ate at the Cafe Zellerback beforehand. Food was good but portions were quite small.
Dining is always easy in Berkeley and they also have some (pricey but good) food inside.
I think we paid $10 flat fee to park in a lot nearby -- easy peezy!
Due to construction, one needs to park near Dana Street and Bancroft and use the free shuttle provided to ferry one to the concert hall
We ate at Bongo Burgers on Dwight and Telegraph -- VERY tasty burgers!!
Right across the street from Zellarback there is a sweet little cafe for pre-show dinner called Musical Offerings Cafe, and there's a pkg lot adjacent to it that is well worth the $10 cost.
or, add your own... took BART to Berkeley station as stated on directions, but it was not one block from Shattuck, more like 3 1/2 block walk.
The weather was beautiful, cool evening not too cold for walk back to BART.. I wore dress with Mexican shawl..
Take BART to Downtown BART Station & short walk to Zellerbach Hall.

Park for $10 all evening at the Berkeley's recreation centre, which is right next to shuttle (ok, it's a golf cart!) straight to the Zellerbach Hall.

Mezzanine seats were better than orchestra because view was not obstructed by other attendess.
Parted on north side of campus and had a pleasant walk to the venue
Was in orchestra, seats were fine.
Took BART for easy go. Worked well.
Crowded and overpriced. Way to long lines at intermission.
