Not far from The Stinking Rose for dinner. Was able to get in without a reservation early Sunday evening and had a delicious meal.

The weather was beautiful warm evening. I wore dressy long sleeve shirt and dressy slacks..
Dine before you go at Cafe Carerra on LaCienega. Excellent Italian.
If the seating is General Admission at the Saban, find out what time the show starts, and get there at least 1 1/2 hours early, if you want decent seats. Don't trust the phone line at the Saban - Goldstar posted the correct start time. Be prepared to wait if you want good seats.
Go have dinner at the Stinking Rose before the show. The food is not cheap but it is a fantastic restaurant and sets the mood for the night.
The weather was warm. I wore california casual, kids wore jeans. Anything went..
We started the evening out with dinner at The Stinking Rose. Great food, everything GARLIC!! We valeted the car and asked the guy if we could leave it there, as we were going to the theatre afterwards. He said fine, just be back by 11:30pm. We ate then walked over, a short walk after a delicious dinner!! It was perfect!!
I wore slacks & a sweater--very casual.
In 2012, I missed the live performance of The Nutcracker. I had the poor taste of having a heart attack that required hospitalization for 5 days. I lost the ticket and the performance.
My ticket for Stomp was for the day that I again had the poor taste of coming down with the flu. This time, I called Goldstar to ascertain whether some type of accommodation could be made so I could still see STOMP. They got the ball rolling. With the holidays and communication interruptions, it wasn't straightforward about what to do. So I called the theater box office and got things sorted out.
If you know there's a problem with your date, start with Goldstar to see what modifications are available and follow their instructions.
I use an assistive device. It wasn't a big deal. The usher asked me to collapse it and leave it at the door (where it was supervised during the performance) and take my belongings with me. It made my mobility issues less burdensome and freed me to enjoy my evening without worries.
The Saban is just off of Restaurant Row. You can make it a night out and either either dine at one of the fine restaurants before or after the performance.
Just a couple of miles away is the Beverly Center where you can stop off for either a Fatburger or have more drama at Johnny Rocket's.
The map did little to help me accurately identify the theater's location so I took a cab. Once I had my bearings, it was easy to take the bus back home.
Parking is scarce. It is best to arrive early to find street parking. Please pay attention to the street signs. You don't want to end up with a ticket.
Popcorn was $5 for a tiny container, about 1/3 the size of a "small popcorn" at the movie house! No coffee in theatre but sales person said we could get it next door. My husband went for one and they wouldn't let him back into theatre with it. He had to drink it on sidewalk!
Nearest parking structure was $10. According to Saban Theatre website, there is other parking less than a block away for $3. I'll look for it next time.
The weather was perfect, mid-70s.. I wore casual wear for matinee. Saw lots of jeans and t-shirts..
