Park at the Prudential Center Garage to go to Boston Symphony Hall. A 10-minute walk, but you get a huge discount: $18 for the evening as opposed to what it would cost otherwise - $38 - $40.

We parked at 10 Gainsborough St (LAZ Gainsborough Garage). It was an easy walk. They charge $22 for event parking. They allow you to prepay when you first park your car so that you do not have to wait in line to pay after the show. That was very helpful to us.

Parking is expensive. You just have to accept it; it's Boston.

I wore a dressy dress and my fellow was in a suit and tie. It's fun to dress up but not necessary. Very casual is not recommended, after all Symphony Hall is special..

Show up early if you're picking up tickets from will-call. The line wrapped around the block but moved quickly.

The symphony stop is on the same block and we took that back home. We got there using Lyft - the fare from North End was $10.50.
