Park at the Prudential Center Garage to go to Boston Symphony Hall. A 10-minute walk, but you get a huge discount: $18 for the evening as opposed to what it would cost otherwise - $38 - $40.

Park at the Pru. Use your concert stub for unlimited parking from 2 PM - 3 AM for $18! Great deal to enjoy the pops, Eataly and the shops at the Pru!
Parking is $25 at the garage on Westland Ave. but so convenient.
Eat at Woody's before or after. Really good pizza.

If you choose to drive to the city, try parking at the Prudential. If you bring your ticket with you, they validate it and parking is only $18 for the event.
We parked at 10 Gainsborough St (LAZ Gainsborough Garage). It was an easy walk. They charge $22 for event parking. They allow you to prepay when you first park your car so that you do not have to wait in line to pay after the show. That was very helpful to us.
Parking is expensive. You just have to accept it; it's Boston.
I wore a dressy dress and my fellow was in a suit and tie. It's fun to dress up but not necessary. Very casual is not recommended, after all Symphony Hall is special..

Show up early if you're picking up tickets from will-call. The line wrapped around the block but moved quickly.

The weather was So delightful . I wore Jacket, loafers.
The symphony stop is on the same block and we took that back home. We got there using Lyft - the fare from North End was $10.50.

We ate alfresco at the Whole Foods market just around the corner from Symphony Hall. It was absolutely delightful.
I wore business sjuit because I came straight from the office. However most of the audience were dressed very casually..
