The weather was cool and sunny. I wore A nice blouse and slacks.....but wish I had brought a sweater or jacket...it got very cold. Why do managers or people in charge turn the thermostat so low....we were all freezing. .
Take the blue line. You get off and it's literally right there. Ate at the Dearborn and it was delicious. Within one minute walking distance.
Theater district parking at 181 N Dearborn was $18 on Spot hero and only a short block away.

If yo7 go with your car valet parking. it's worth it
A Bronx Tale
Enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Dearborn before the show
It's BYO your own chocolate.
Spot Hero has some great prices near by.
Spot Hero gave many good parking options, the lot at 20 N Randolph was easy to use and close.
Do not park across the street from the Goodman. It cost me $37 for two hours. Get there early and park on the street.
park two blocks east on Randolf for 15.00 or 19.00 parking lots. otherwise parking is 40.00.
Parking, we parked in the Goodman Theatre garage on the next block, only because we did not see the entrance to the Oriental Theatre until we passed it. Go in one car to share the cost of parking if you are not taking public transportation or a cab.
The weather was warmer than a normal Chicago February.. I wore comfortable clothes, a nice top, leggings, a lightweight jacket & comfortable ankle boots. Remember, you will be sitting and walking up stairs if you are not on the main floor..
Totally with ground floor tickets as they do interact with the audience on the ground floor a lot- you have a HUGE chance of being pulled up on stage to "assist" if you are on the main stage floor.
If you park in the theater garage on Randolph be sure to get your parking ticket validated by the attendant in the parking garage lobby BEFORE you pay. Validation will give you a flat rate of $25 (otherwise you will pay $41 as I did).
Parked 1 block away at the garage connected with the discount for theatre-goers suggested on website. Purchased ahead of time online--$20. for 12 hours !
Ate at Tavern in the Park afterwards. Easy walk from the Oriental and GREAT food !
