Bluewater Boathouse is simply around the corner. very good sea food.
I wore jeans and a sweater, very cool in the evening.
It helps to sit towards the front as the floor is not slanted like in other theaters.
There was a wedding going on at the same time and there was still plenty of parking in the lot.
The weather was sunny, pick a restaurant close to theater, but living in O'side.
Coronado is a lovely place visit. The ferry landing is only a mile or so down the road with several eateries and shops to browse. Walk around after dinner and enjoy the beautiful bay before the play.

Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure
The weather was sunny 75.. I wore jeans with a cardigan and sandals; children and adults alike were dressed in costumes; inside was appropriately cooled; there's a little snack bar at the back corner of the "theater"; kids got to sit on the floor by the stage.
We ate at the nearby Boathouse restaurant (not the real name - think it's called 1877 or something similar, but it's IN a boathouse). A tad pricey, but the food was excellent.
Simply go to have fun and not be a critic!
Just park a bit south and there are ample spaces plus the little walk is refreshing!
Reasonable prices, good selection, and great personnel!
Totally comfort clothing.
Get there early...parking is minimal.
Very casual venue, no need to dress up imo.
Chez Loma Bistro offers a wonderful 3 course dinner special before 6 pm.
Usually more than enough parking provided there is not another event happening at the center.
Inexpensive snacks and drinks. Easy to have dinner in the area and then head to the play.
