Porto's is a great casual dinner spot a block away from the Alex Theater.

Free parking on Jackson St... if you don't mind walking 4 blocks.

he randomly picks people to participate in the show, so if you would like to possibly be picked, you will need to sit on the lower level of the venue and not in balcony seats.

We parked at the Parking Structure at
California and Orange. It was validated by the Alex Theater. It costs $3.00 with validation for
Unlimited Parking.

Be very aware that balcony J-N is just horrible, you can't see, the angle is atrocious and the ceiling blocks the view as well.
Had a delicious middle eastern dinner at Carousel, just a block from the Alex theater.
The weather was sunny and a little warm. I wore nice shirt and slakes and carried a sweater ..

MetroBus Route 92 has a stop right across the street from the Alex Theatre.

The weather was mild outside = comfortable in the venue.
Or, add your own...plenty of eating places located
very close to the theater, reasonably priced & a little higher end if that's what you are looking for.
Public parking was a little difficult, so might as well park in the parking structure on Maryland as the
first 90 mins. are free. Total cost of just the performance was $1!!!!
