Parking can be a tad challenging as it is limited in the immediate area. If going with a group, car pool as you will be street parking in a residential neighborhood.
There are a number of really nice and reasonable resturants within a five minute walk the problem is parking. It is well worth going early, having dinner and strolling around in downtown Lafayette before heading to the theatre.
I wore slacks and a sweater. Very comfortable environment..
Nice cafe setting when you walk in.
They actually serve alcohol and a nice selection of things to eat and drink.
Go early to get parking close by.

The show is two and a half hours, one intermission
