We had a wonderful dinner at Noe in the Omni Hotel where we parked and then shuttled to the Concert Hall.
So many wonderful places to eat before or after the show.....I love Kendall's for great roasted chicken and hold on to your hat's floating island for dessert......
Walkman the gardens
Ate at Mexican restaurant Pez which has a good Happy Hour. A nice walk down Grand Ave. Come early so the traffic doesn't interfere with your evening out.
I wore velvet pants and jacket with a blouse and small heels.
The weather was sunny.
As others have said, the underground parking for $9 is unbeatable. And the cafeteria is great; they were serving prime rib on the night of our concert.

The weather was muggy summer weather. I wore a nice shirt/tie + jeans. No need for your LBD, but it is nice to be a little dressy in such a nice venue..

Or after the afternnoon show, pop over to Little Tokyo, a few blocks down for a bunch of options. Ramen, Udon, even Mediterranean for reasonable prices.

Civic Center stop off the Red/Purple Metro line makes transportation really easy. Nearby garages for event parking about $9

Parking is quite expensive but the Metro Silver Line goes right there! I highly recommend going by Metro!!!
We walked to Philippe's for dinner. Perfect! The Dodger game had just let out, so lots of happy people eating amazing sandwiches.
Take the metro..the stop is only 2 blocks from the Disney. Perfect!
Walt Disney Hall has a great cafeteria for food and drinks

Park downstairs in the Disney Hall parking. You don't even have to step outside, unless you are going to the box office to pickup tickets. It was only $9 to park
there's a nice self service cafeteria-type restaruant in the lobby of the Disney Hall.
Park for free on the street adjacent to the County Health Department buildings at Figueroa Street south of Temple Street. Metered parking during the day, but free in the evenings after 6:00!
The weather was irrelevant -- this is L.A. Warm sunny days, cool evenings. Not much rain -- dress accordingly!. I wore a business suit; my partner wore dress slacks and a dinner jacket. Business casual for the Music Center..
