Just a quick note: The SW Theater Company experienced a devastating warehouse fire in early Summer 2017 and lost its collection of 23 years of costumes, props and scenery stock. Please consider a costume or monetary donation to this awesome group. Contact Hilary Struyf @hstruyf@swshakespeare.org or call 480-435-6868.

There is plenty of free parking either in the lot or on the street. Allow yourself enough time to park and walk to the appropriate theater in the Mesa Arts Center as many events are being held simultaneously.

The weather was a perfect Fall evening.. I wore a dress with heels and brought a light sweater in case the A/C was too cool..

This area of Mesa has just had the light rail extended into it, so get a pass and ride it around. We parked for free in the street but next time will prob park at beginning of light rail at 19th and Montebello and take the c. hour ride since we enjoy the rail and getting on and off for a drink or appetizer along the way as the spirit moves us.

Brought my own water bottle and no problem taking it in. There was a small concession booth available for drinks and snacks, and although it was pricey, it all for the cause, so go for it if you can. Places to sit outside if you pack a lunch, but you're right on Main St. Mesa so just walk down the street and see what appeals to you although on Sunday the choices are more limited. Try the beer flight at Desert Eagle Brewery before or after a show--very laid back bar and tables, tasty brews, free popcorn. We split an order of Thai rice which hit the spot although not exceptional.

The weather was Sunny and hot.. I wore Ethnic East Indian dress and sandals, and others ranged from very casual in shorts and t-shirts to Sunday best--it was Sunday after all, and some probably came from church and lunch out..
