Beware of traffic in downtown Pasadena. If there's a Rose Bowl event, allow at least an extra half-hour to find parking, as streets are closed off.
had dinner at Santorinis in Pasadena and saw members from the orchestra.
The weather was sunny and warm. I wore casual to dressy.

Since we arrived late, I asked the staff if we could stand near the rear doors and catch the remainder of the show. No problem. They escorted us into the back doors. Luckily, we were able to stand there and enjoy the last 15-20 minutes of the violinist's, conductor's and symphony's last performance together.

Valet parking with wheelchair access is available on Green Street for $15.
