One Starry Night
Park behind the theatre but not at the
parking meters because max is 1 1/2 hours.
We got to the theater quite early. Free street parking after 6pm. You may want to arrive just minutes after 6 to get a spot on Colorado. We parked on a side street about 5:30 - it was also a ONE HOUR PARKING UNTIL. We got there so early we went to see a movie across the street. The play was SO MUCH BETTER than the movie! Lot's of dining options nearby.
Parking close to venue. If arrive early, street parking is available.
Many places to eat on Colorado Blvd. and on the same street as venue.
The weather was perfect.. I wore casual but classy..
Ate at Red, White, and Bleuzz right next door to the theatre. Pretty good!

You can save some money if you arrive early & park on the street. But if you don't (like us), park in the public lot behind the Playhouse as it's way cheaper than the lot in front of the playhouse.

Also had a great meal at Red+White and Bluezz, which is part of the Pasadena Playhouse complex, and they have live jazz starting at 6:30.
Food trucks lined the street and took parking spots. Used parking lot for $8.
The weather was comfortable evening. I wore long sleeves.

Recommend the Red, White & Blues cafe next door to the playhouse for a early or late dinner and drinks.
The weather was great, the theatre ranged from hot to cold. I wore theatre attire - I believe one should be proprely attired while attending a play..

The Theatre is a historical landmark with only two restrooms: men and women. So, get to the restroom early before the show!
