The weather was Beautifully perfect for SD . I wore Sexy navy blue bodycon dress. Too dressed up for This venue. .
Try to stand near the middle or up top at the House of Blues San Diego... it's harder to hear on the sides.
I wore a summer dress and sandals.
You have a 3 1/2 hour wait if you pick up tickets at six
House of Blues is not a good venue and they have really bad service there
Take the trolley if you want to party at any of the nearby bars or park for free at a meter after 6pm. Pay lots range in price from $5-$15 usually.
or for a fancier dinner experience, try Saltbox next door and get a discount on Valet Parking.
Kids loved it, kind of disappointed with The House of Blues thought it was appropriate or necessary to have the bars open, serving alcohol at a concert geared towards elementary aged children. Was really fun to deal with drunk obnoxious parents.
You can eat in their restaurant ahead of time, bars up and downstairs were both open, and they had a snack booth downstairs.
$10-$15 lot parking super close
I wore Jeans and a t-shirt.
They have a full bar and restaurant, though you'll save mega money if you eat first.
The weather was warm and pleasant. I wore slacks and a sweater, she wore a dress.

Park in Horton plaza. You get 3 hours free when you validate the ticket in that mall.

Take a cab, the trolley, or Park it on Market. You can also park for cheap just north of HOB, but use your street smarts if you're walking alone after midnight. I've never had a problem, but it IS the city!
Eat upstairs in the lounge or at any one of the eateries in the Gaslamp. (I like Nicky Rotten's!)
