There is much construction on Van Ness and surrounding streets. Parking may be scarce.
This is a small theatre, and there are no bad seats.
A good place for food and drink is just across the street at the new Corridor restaurant, 100 Van Ness.
We too the Muni. Dropped us up a few steps from the building.
Thee are three parking lots about a block from the theater. I would get to these lots early on a weekend. We only paid ten dollars.
Eat at Grove for hearty portions, fast service and best pies (chicken to sour cherry) ever. BUT- don't expect to hear one another...
I can almost always find free street parking on South Van Ness, just south of Market, next to the car dealership, or on 12th Street just south of Market.

They sell drinks and snacks that you can bring into the theater- including wine!

The weather was a little breezy but pleasant. . I wore Slacks, v neck t and a hoodie. .
I like Sunday matinees and I found it easy to park nearby on Sunday (parking meters are free on Sunday).

The NCTC is conveniently located off Van Ness muni exit. Cross of Van Ness & Market. Small lot behind the building.

We had dinner at 6:30pm at Mandarin Villa, just a block west of the theater on the corner of Franklin and Oak. Inexpensive, fast, delicious. I recommend their spicy basil beef in particular.
We tried the Alborz Persian Restaurant on Van Ness/ Sutter, and the food was excellent, price was reasonable. Take no. 47 or 49 bus along van Ness, runs every 10 minutes.

NCTC is cramped, and has no ventilation system, so be prepared to be uncomfortable and hot for 2 hours!
