I used to always park in small basement lot off of 4th street across the street from SJSU for Hammer productions. But the rates went from free to $5 to now $8 on weekend afternoons. Damn!
We ate Mexican prior to the performance at La Cueva in Saratoga....yummy, fast service,
Sit a bit higher up (rather than stage level) if possible so you can see the full scope of the dress. The production does not have an intermission, so make sure to arrive on time. Plan to not leave for the restroom or any other reason so you do not miss a word said. This is a story you really must pay attention to to be able to absorb it as a whole.

The weather was hot. I wore a long sleeve blouse and long pants, but theatre is well air-conditioned - not too hot, and not too cold.
Park on Third in the multi-story complex.
Park @ 3rd st garage — if before 5pm, validate @ tech museum (close 5 pm) — this will become a flat rate fee of $5 — then get a $5 parking coupon from original joes — the parking becomes FREE!
Mosaic, 2 blocks away, has a fantastic Happy Hour!
