The weather was Cool and crisp. I wore Heavy jacket and beanie .
Allow yourself some extra time to park and get to venue as it was very busy downtown with Christmas in the Park and the Sharks game.
Enclosed parking across the street for a reasonable sum, or street parking around the corner for free. Seems to be easily accessible by their light rail system, right out front.

The Loft Bar & Bistro, a 9-minute walk from City National Civic, is a delightful spot with excellent food and attentive service to match.
We parked in the Conventional hall parking lot off Almaden and walked across the Street to the City National Auditorium. Simple Quick & Easy

If a tall person, book floor seats, balcony seats have no leg room.
Best parking is at the San Jose Convention Center, enter on Vine Street. Just $10 flat rate at night, 1.5 blocks from venue.
Take the light rail if you can. It drops you at the entrance door. Cheaper than parking fees.
Take VTA LightRail, station right across street between Civic Theater & SJ Convention Center! & Super Cheap for Seniors Citizens!

Parking a few blocks past the Marriott hotel, on the right hand side past the official convention center parking-$7 for the night. $10 at convention center (for a Sunday? Wth)-
Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions
Prior to show we ate and drank beer and wine at The Blue Chip Sports Bar 325 s. First St, corner of San Carlos. It was very close by, good food and good prices.
We parked at the convention center garage and were able to use the building's front doors and elevator to exit and enter again, then just crossed the street @ the light rail stop. Worked great!
Watch out for Parking. There are signs with "City" with BIG $5.00 but under the amount has small writing "PER HOUR".
Went to Gordon Biersch with a group of 8. The service was great.
The weather was a very mild, nice evening. I wore jeans, scarf and nice tshirt type top. My husband wore jeans and a nice hoodie..
