Parking was a bit confusing. If you use the address given, it takes you to a different building with very few parking spots and saw horses closing the street where it connects to a lot. I parked on a main street, walked back to the building, and asked about 10 people where to find Mayer Theatre. It turns out that it is behind the building on Franklin.
Parking is tricky mostly because there are no signs showing where the theatre is and this is difficult if it is your first visit.
Park in the large lot behind Togos/Frozos/Hungry Hound, and simply walk across the street for the theater
There is free parking on Sundays in the structure across from the venue. There is also street parking available.
there is a parking garage at Benton and Alviso, but also lots of street parking (went on a Sunday afternoon). if you get there early, it is a lovely campus to explore, especially the nearby Mission, which was open and had lovely artwork on the walls. dress was mostly casual.
There's free 2 hour street parking. Unlimited after 6pm.
The weather was warmish. I wore a sweater.
I bought the half price tickets for $7.50 with a $2.50 service fee. Our group was one adult and 4 teens. While I was standing in the "Will Call" line, I noticed that high school students tickets only cost $5....oh well, live and learn!

Directions for theater location provided not very helpful. Drive into SC university main entrance head for parking lot B. Will call tickets not available at box office, but at table set up by staff in front of theater (they don't tell you that till you get to the front of the line).
