Plenty of free parking.
The snacks available are local and reasonably priced. The patio is lovely. Truxtons and Starbucks are nearby.
The weather was Beautiful, intimate theatre. But very chilly inside. Bring a sweater/jacket.. I wore Dress. Some dressed casually. .
Little chilly in the theater may wish to wear a wrap.
You can walk to many restaurants.

Arrive early for the lot in front of the theater( by 6:45 for a 7:30 show). If there is no space, park at the library and catch the shuttle to the Broad.

Seats at The Broad Stage are super comfy and the venue is small so there are no bad seats in the house.

Ate at very modest Sweetfin Poke at Lincoln and Broadway. This corner has Pono Burger and Jersey MIke and another restaurant.

I wore A long summer skirt and jacket. Upscale casual to dressy is appropriate. No jeans..
Fyi, there was construction in Santa Monica. So, I got in late (after more than hour and a half of driving). They do not sit you on the main floor if you are late, but up on the balcony. My point- start out early.
The weather was warm and a bit windy.. I wore slacks and a sweater and felt a little underdressed..
Had lunch before a matinee at the Huckleberry Café, having parked first in the theater lot!
I wore a sweater, flip-flops, etc..
We came from the Valley and I wish we had just stayed for dinner afterward. Don't try to make it back in the traffic after a matinee...wait it out. Btw, most of that traffic was on Santa Monica heading East- 45 minutes to the 405 entrance!!!
