Read street parking signs very carefully. I parked in a "Zone 27" permit spot but didn't realize it until after I received a $53 parking ticket.
bring the address! There I no signage indicating Comedy Sportz .. and if we hadn't had the address with us, we would have gone right by it.
food stores usually close when their done so save some time before hand for eating around the area.
Parking is difficult to find. We used UBER and it was cheaper than a taxi.
Bring funny props and they will be used in the performance.
While we waited for the show we tried the pies from the bakery next door. They are open until midnight and you should also do that.
There is a $9 Paid parking lot on 36th, between Fremont and Evanston, one block away from the theatre.

Parking in Fremont can be a challenge. If you are not familiar with driving in Seattle, you might want to take a boat load of patience with you before the show. We drove around and around for about 15 minutes looking for a spot. But before giving up all together and heading home frustrated, I stumbled upon a small pay lot. I decided it was better for us to pay a small fee than to drive around and miss eating dinner before the comedy extravaganza. To get there, take a left at the first light south of the theatre. It will be in the left hand side of the street close by. Take cash because there's no electronic machine to take your $10. As an added bonus, the Fremont troll that lives under the bridge is only a few walking blocks (east, then north) away from the lot.
The doors open at 7pm for the 8pm show...we thought we would need to be there super early - so we ended up spending 45 minutes walking around and enjoying local shops, ect. No need to be there an hour early - the community and little stores are awesome.
If you have kids that are small...I would advise to hold them close to you, the sidewalks are narrow and the foot traffic is as busy as the streets are. My son kept bumping into people left and right...we normally don't make him hold hands as he has a pretty good handle on directions and crossing streets in our neighborhood but he was confused and dazed by all of the traffic and people on the narrow sidewalks...so we held hands the whole time.
They have beer, wine, soft drinks, popcorn and candy for purchase. Reasonable prices about $5 a drink and $3 for popcorn.
Parking is not available on any of the streets after 8pm...they give tickets if you don't have a permit. There is a paid lot on 35th that you can pay $10 for the evening. It's better than a $50 ticket.
I wore slacks and a nice shirt - most wore jeans and nicer shirts..

PARKING - be careful a lot of the street parking is PERMIT ONLY. My husband finally found a spot only to come outside later to find a $53 ticket on our window. We were parked halfway up a street and the nearest sign was down below by the corner. We were able to get out of it but still!
