Leave early because of traffic near Fox Theatre and finding reasonable parking prices! Also when leaving try not to leave area by driving on Peachtree use side streets. Uber or Lyft if possible.
Get there early because the line can get bottle necked, and there is a separate line for Goldstar tickets. We missed the 1st scene because the line was so long. 5 minutes early was not enough time.
Bring binoculars to the FOX, especially if you are up in the Balcony. It makes the whole experience that more special when you can see the actor's faces.
If you want to park in the $25 ($20 for handicapped) lot adjacent to the Fox Theater you must prepay for parking. Also, we found that a large group of people were let in to the performance after it started and we would like to urge people to arrive to the theater early as it is disrespectful to both the actors and the audience to have large numbers of people arriving after the performance begins.
Public Draft House has excellent good and service. Remember to check curtain time. Weeknight shows often begin at 7:30
Parking across the street is $30 so bring cash or just take MARTA!
We had very little time to eat and decided to try PDH in the corner of the Fox theater. They found two seats at a communal table with another couple who we enjoyed talking with, served up good food quickly and were attuned to getting us out in time for our curtain.
We ate at Mary Mac's Tea Room before the show. Best Southern food ever!
Baraonda, less than a block from the Fox Theater, is a guaranteed good meal before or after a show.
Again, if you are going to dine near the Fox, be aware that some of the establishments offer an "event" menu that is higher priced than their normal menu.
If you're going to park near the Fox, be prepared to be price gouged with their "event" parking rates.
Herban Fix is only a couple blocks away and is the finest Vegan restaurant in all Atlanta!
If you arrive early, you may be able to find street parking $8 for 4h. I arrived at 6.50pm for 7.30pm show and got lucky. Otherwise, the special event parking was $25 and $30
