I would recommend the Park & Ride that are available through Hollywood Bowl. The shuttles are quick and way easier than dealing with block parking at the Bowl. They have numerous locations-- I took the one in Pasadena, and was there in about 40 minutes, during rush hour time.
One Republic Featuring The Script
It is a good idea to check venue website of what beverages will be allowed (if any).
The weather was perfect--cool, not cold. I wore jeans, long sleeved t-shirt sandals.
We got food at Whole Foods on the way

Be sure to print out your tickets at home. Hollywood Bowl will only give you a temporary pass if the lines aren't too long. You might get by with access to your online purchase but don't chance it. The place was packed and no room to move seats around.

Drinks used to be allowed but this time only unopened bottled water was allowed. They said drinks are allowed for only certain philharmonic concerts.

This was a leased event. The bowl was leased to an outside company. They didn't allow you to bring in alcohol from the outside. There was no mention of this on tickets from ticketmaster but Goldstars did mention it. A lot of ticketmaster buyers ended up drinking bottles of wine in the parking lot before the show. You can buy alcohol inside the bowl but the prices are ridiculous. $5-7 for wine and beer and 4.75 for sodas. If you need a pad for your seat you can rent one for a $1 but get it early or they sell out.Share anything else here. Just start typing...
Use park and ride
I highly recommend taking a shuttle from one of the remote park and ride lots across the city rather than dealing with the crowded stacked parking.
The weather was typical evening cool. I wore pants and a blouse but brought a good shawl that helped to fend off he evening coolness which is always the case at evening Hollywood Bowl performances..
Picnicing is encouraged but don't take in canned drinks. I missed that while I was reading the instructions.
I parked at the Hollywood and Highland lot. It was $5 for the shuttle bus and $13 for the parking. Well worth it. Just take the early shuttle so your bus will be towards the front of the line when returning.
Get there very early and picnic, we got to listen to the sound check!
Even where drinks are not allowed in the theater, they are allowed outside in the many nice spots for a byte and glass of wine. Parking in the Kodak center costs about $10 after validation at Starbucks, and the walk to the theater is contagious and part of the adventure!
Would like gold star to send digital tickets so you don't have to print but can flash your phone, like on an airline or at a restaurant.
I always take the shuttle. It avoids trying to get out of the parking lot.
The parking was way over priced & the parking attendance were to busy talking and not helping direct traffic.
I wore sweater.
Or, add your own...
Traffic is miserable. The last two times going to the bowl, a 45 min. Drive turned into 2 hours. Missed the first act completely.
