Be advised that stack parking across from Bowl in Odin lot is now $23. Shuttles most economical.
and park at the lots available on Hollywood and Highland Ave. Cheaper and all you have to do is take a short walk up to the Bowl. Mind you it is all upill, so please wear comfortable shoes e.g. boots, flats, sneakers. If not, I'd pack some flats for walking and put your cute shoes on at the concert. :)
USE THE SHUTTLE! I have always hated The Bowl but that's because I've either driven myself or been dropped off by a friend and it's been torturous. Took the shuttle from Griffith Park and it was So. Awesome. Do it!

Save that courtesy number they flash on the screen in case you end up with an unwelcomed doobie brother/sister in your section.
some of the business north of the Hollywood Bowl offer stacked parking for $10 - $15. If you're planning an early exit from the concert, make sure you pay the extra $ to be able to get out.
Take the shuttle to and from the lot. Pack a picnic lunch bring your own wine and delectables. Park N Ride is the way to go. The bus is comfortable the crowd is friendly. No driving or parking worries.

Dont be lazy, pack a nice picnic, and never forget the wine-it is a must!!!
A nice picnic experience is as important as the event itself...so bring plenty of food, cheeses, crackers, anything that will make your stay enjoyable.
Come early, a good picnic should last at least an hour and a half. Our Concert started at 8pm, and we were sitting already at the picnic table at 6, after parking and collecting our tickets (30 mins).
Note that the picnic areas are closed 15 min before the event start.
Best parking is at the Hollywood and Highland for $13 then there are shuttles to the Bowl for $5 roundtrip or free when you show your Tap card for buses and metro.
The weather was warm, turning cool after sundown. I wore I always pack a pashmina in my bag, just in case it turns cool..
If possible utilize Park and Ride. $6 round trip if purchased through box office.
