I took the shuttle from Lakewood. So worth the $7 round trip. I didn't have to drive through the traffic and deal with expensive and overflowing parking.

Just be prepared to take some deep breaths and think happy thoughts as you attempt to make it to the return shuttle at the end of the evening.

Don't stress about the "tunnel" to cross Highland- we saved time (and sanity) by crossing with the help of traffic officers above ground.

Parking is a nightmare at the Bowl and add in Friday night traffic-- sheesh! But parking at the zoo and taking the shuttle from there helped. They have a ton of shuttles going back and forth before and after the event-- I will definitely do that again. You can pre-pay on TM and buy your shuttle tickets in advance.

Too bad the shuttle from Lakewood was not available for this event. The traffic getting there was terrible.

Park and Ride is definitely the way to go; you're out faster and there is no stress about getting there or finding parking. It's cheaper, too. Just put in Hollywood Bowl Park and Ride in google and you'll find all the locations.

We took the bus from Lakewood Center. For only $7, the bus takes you to the bowl, drops you off at the entrance and takes you home when the concert is over. The only bad thing is, the bus took over an hour and half to get to the bowl and we were almost late.

Park and ride is the best option. Very easy, comfortable and cheap. I took the shuttle from Pasadena.

Definitely take the Hollywood Bowl shuttle. Leaves from various places and cost $7 round trip. The buses get priority, so it dropped us off right at the entrance then when we left, we were waived past traffic and placed right on the freeway.

Do your picnic outside the gates so you can drink your own booze. It will cost you $40 for a $4 bottle of wine.....
