Great cheap brunch at historic Caffe Reggio (which is practically next door)
before & a drink at the long standing Fat Black Pussycat around the corner on W.
3rd St., which is also not really expensive.
Don't eat at the novelty Jeckyl and Hyde place; terrible service and food was burned
Lots of places within 1 or 2 blocks.

Tiny adorable New Orleans themed cafe diagonally across the street, very authentic cafe au lait and beignets, go and enjoy they are very nice! Also, do NOT miss La Lanterna down the street for dinner (try to get into greenhouse after sun goes down). All the rooms are nice but the greenhouse is magical! Extremely reasonable delicious food!
The weather was 70 degrees. I wore wear a sweater, or light jacket, as inside is strongly air conditioned..
Many low, medium priced venues to enjoy on block. Don't eat at home, will definitely find something interesting to eat there, even if you only have a few minutes left before show.
There's Minetta Tavern on the corner. Monte's trattoria down the block. And Mamoun's falafel and a dozen other little places on Macdougal St.
Terrific bar next door called the Olive Tree.
I ate dinner at nearby Vegetarians Paradise 2
W4 Street Subway

it you want to pull off a really nice look and wanna look like 'million bucks' invest your money in very chic but classics accessories. A nice watch or a cool belt that compliments your shoes will do the trick. Some colors will add to the 'rich' look f.e. white or gold. Black is always a classic and you can't do no wrong but it's important to add a splash of colors too so you don't look sad or like ready for a funeral ceremony. Nice bracelet or cute pin , necklace will always look fresh and will take away the monotonous tone. Do not wear huge logos no matter if they're designer logos or something very cheap because it's looks tacky and kinda immature. Especially if you're a grown man. Play with colors all you want but less is always more. I invest my money in a nice pair of shoes or a great piece of jewelry and then I match it with some really inexpensive attire but folks always thinks I dress expensively. Growing up poor and not having many pieces of clothing thought me how to combine few of the same things and switch them around so it looks like I always have something new but in reality I am switching 3 sweaters and few shirts or a cardigan around each time so I always get a different look. But most importantly of all is that you feel good when you put something on no matter the price, the logos or whatever. Because when you feel good about yourself others will perceive you in the same way and you can be dressed for $20 bucks or $2000!
The weather was Rainy. I wore Black leather Ankle boots, dark skinny jeans and a dark blue leather jacket.
Tons of small cafes and bistros right on McDougal and all around the area.
