After the show head south on Minetta past all the touristy places and find 12 chairs, 100 Acres, etc. Nice places to eat away from tourist trap Italian places in the Village.
Lupa restaurant on Thompson was a great hit! Bit expensive but well worth it!!
The weather was Ice cold!!! 21 degrees but on an island surrounded by water in should have brought gloves and a scarf . I wore Coat. Not enough!.

There are lots of fun, intimate, inexpensive but good little restaurants in the neighborhood. Olive Tree, next door, is great for superb burgers or lamb kebobs.
