If you're fit, park below the amphitheater, on Joaquin Miller Rd, and walk up through the Cascades, for an outstanding view. Bring a flashlight for your walk back to the car, and come prepared for a cold second act with coat, hat, gloves.

The line to will call or to purchase tickets may seem formidable at times, but these folks have invented an ingenious system for moving it quickly. They have runners that move down the line and pick up our tkts for us so the line moves very quickly.

Patrons are encouraged to arrive early and bring a picnic to get to your seats early and have time to enjoy the incredible vistas and surrounding nature. Once you settle your stuff on your seats there are many picnic tables around for your picnic, or you can purchase reasonably priced snacks there. Come and relax into the outdoor theater experience and leave feeling deeply satisfied and nourished. Think about where you want to park and what you want to bring because you'll be carrying your stuff with you. Also be prepared for changing weather, esp the nite chill after the sun goes down.

Easy access right off Hwy 13, up a long hill into the park. Can park outside and walk in, or pay only $5. to park inside and have easier access to your vehicle. Handicapped parking available nearby but still requires some flat walking into venue.

Wear comfortable shoes. Hills and uneven ground to amphitheater. Dress in layers and bring a warm jacket and blanket for those cool Bay Area Nights. Enjoy!
