The only bad thing about this theater is that the seats are pretty uncomfortable. Bringing a stadium cushion helps, but if one of the members of your party is a larger person, considered looking for an empty seat where there is a little more elbow room. Also, pay attention to the actual spot you choose. There are metal arm rests between the seats, and there are seats with greater space between the armrests and seats with lesser space between the armrests. Picking the right chair will definitely make a difference in comfort level over the several hours of showtime. (Sorry for typos - this page is tricky to use w/iPhone.)

If you want to reserve a picnic table #'s 50-59 are the best as they sit along the top edge of seats of the amphitheater.
We brought our four year old son and though the people around us were great it was not enough to hold his attention. If you bring kids that might be antsy I suggest waiting until the show starts then sit in the empty seats near the top so you can let them stretch their legs and have easy access to the bathrooms BEFORE the 10 minute intermission.
