Much easier 2nd time! Went right there and ate w/ friends!
Definitely blankets.
Seats are a little uncomfortable. Many people brought chair pads.
Can park lower on Joaquin Miller Rd & hike up (w/flashlight) the steep steps to the lower entry.
Dress in layers and bring blankets to prepare for the possibility of a chilly fog.
Parking lot is $5.
Snacks are reasonably priced if you don't want to provide your own.
Take a cushion or blanket to sit on. uncushioned seats get hard after a while.
Take a flashlight for traversing the parking areas after the show.
Take a jacket.

A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum
Located in a hilly park, some walking
You can bring food into the theater, or go early for a picnic
Popcorn reasonably priced and the kids with us enjoyed it.
Sound system not great...hard to hear from section 5 on the far side near the bathrooms
A pillow is recommended...seats are very uncomfortable
Free parking on Joaquin Miller Rd above the vehicle entrance as well
Hot dogs were good
Bring warm clothes and/or blankets
