Parking is available across the street for $5.
Parking behind the theater was easy.
I always find street parking at Sunday matinees.
Great Thai restaurant a block away on Colorado called Nine by Nine. Try soft shell crab.
We ate before the play at "Roy's of Pasadena". Made the reservation at 6pm. We had enough time to enjoy food, drinks, conversation, social time. We ate outside on the patio. Service was wonderful. Food was great.. drinks, too. It is a short 2 min. walking distance to the PlayHouse. The reservation is needed - the restaurant is popular and busy. Many people who go to see the play go to "Roy's" before the play.
The weather was sunny, warm. I wore nice summer dress and high heels. People looked nice appropriate to the occasion and place..
Park in the new building directly across the street from the Playhouse. It's only $5. Take the elevator to Plaza level and walk across via the big crosswalk.
Save the stress of parking twice and eat at the lovely restaurant that shares the patio: Redwhite+Bluezz. Moderately priced, excellent food and service. Just a little loud, but not unbearable.
The weather was hot as blazes outside. I wore a lightweight summer dress.
Red, White and Bluezz just next door to the Playhouse was great! I recommend it!
I wore nothing..
After the play we went next door to "Red White and Blues." Dinner was fantastic!

There is 3-5$ parking but if you are lucky, you can score free parking on El Molino/Mira Monte.

There are many parking options nearby. My friend found parking on the street and I found a lot for $5 just around the corner.

Paid parking within a block of the theater but plenty of free on-street parking if you are willing to walk another 1-2 blocks.
