If you're seeing an evening show, meters are free. We have never had a hard tome looking for a place to park after 6. BUT! Do not leave valuables in car!
The weather was cold and windy. I wore casual but cute! black jeans with dress flats, blouse and sweater.
Went last night and used Luxe for parking. I requested a valet to pick my car at the theater drop off and they were there within minutes. You can actually see them on the app on your phone traveling to your car. They pick it up and park it for you in their garage. You can schedule the time of your drop off. I told them 11:00 and my car was right there when we got out of the theater.
A great place to try is the Hotel Whitcomb across the street; wonderful service and food.
Travel in groups. Unfortunately, the neighborhood gives way to the night. No judgement here as it is unfortunate the plight of our homeless.
The weather was Cold. I wore Jeans and shirt warm jacket.
Take Bart, it takes you right to the theatres door steps.
We went to the Hall beforehand for some wine and food. In the theater, they make you buy a $ 5 covered cup if you want to bring your drink inside...
or, add your own...Take BART to Civic Center and the Orpheum is right up the stairs

Chez Maman on Gough St. was very good
If/Then
go to the blue room (on your left when you enter the building). buy the SHN souvenir cup and bring it to other SHN shows - you can bring your drink into the theater this way.
Had dinner at Alta CA just down Market. Nice place with a hip vibe and good fresh food.
Jardiniere's is a great place to eat, and a short walk to the Orpheum. Great special night out!
I wore a sweater, flip-flops, etc..
Bart is RIGHT in front of the venue... HIGHLY recommend... though we had to leave before curtain call to meet train but was worth it.
