There were snacks available for purchase, but a bit overpriced. $2.20 for a can soda, bottle of water, and candy bars.
I wore The dress for this event is very relaxed. My son had on slacks and my daughter had on a nice holiday dress. I felt that they were both over dressed, based on the number of tshirts, leggings, and jeans that sorrounded us. .
I wore Jeans and a sweater with comfortable boots. Be prepared to dance .
Fined next door at H St. Country Club. The BEST fish tacos.
Arrived early and found a parking space in front.
I wore Always cool so bring a shawl or jacket..
The nearest parking facility was $20. I walked a block over and there was plenty of free residential parking,

The weather was cold inside theater - be prepared!. I wore shorts and short-sleeved shirt - not enough!.

We are at Smith Commons located at 1345 Hst NE - just few feet away; the food was fantastic as well as the service. I had the lamp crops -they were exquisite - will definitely go back!
Smith Commons on the next block had excellent food for pre theater dinner.
On a weeknight, all the nearby restaurants close their kitchens before the curtain comes down. The bars are open however.
There is a pie shop two doors from the theatre with the best quiche I've every had!
Food and drink options available at reasonable prices and much on H Street. Would dine 1st, but just me.
Be prepared to pay or drive around the block at least once.
