Parked right on H St., at considerable expense (c.$5). The play, with intro., was only 90 min., so I did not need to put in 2 hrs.
The Atlas Theater has many interesting events but getting there is not easy since it is not on Metro and parking is very difficult.

Theatre snacks, drinks, and alcohol. Depending on the theatre, you can take them in with you.

If you want a perfect place for post show drink, go to CopyCat Co, which is a short walk from the theatre. True mixologist on staff and Asian bites for snacking in a great outdoor or indoor environment.

Parking in the H street corridor is a hassle now. Some spaces are now marked for the residents only, other residential parking spaces limited to two hours are now restricted until midnight

The weather was windy. I wore 2 heavy sweaters and gloves.

Park on D St, just a few blocks south and avoid the parking SS on H.
We ABSOLUTLEY enjoyed this event. Why didn't we know about this in previous years (we found out this is their 5th season? This event is: well organized, well practiced/timed/performed, colorful, energetic, professional, and enjoyable. If we could get tickets (they are sold out) we would go again. We will be back next year and support them too.

It's on H Street NE, and the new trolley tracks run in front. There is street parking and it seems safe enough.
