Parking is a challenge, we found a meter although the kiosk was not working. Went across the street to another and it worked. The meter runs to 10pm on a weeknight so watch the clock!
There a lots of places to eat on H St NE
Tons of restaurants, snack bar in lobby of theater. Eating and drinking allowed inside theater.
Small lot 2 blocks from theater, $12
The weather was Humid. I wore Jeans, shirt, ballet flats..
Pay for parking. There are no parking free spaces available, you will look for hours.
The Atlas Performing Arts Center is relatively new to me, but I've enjoyed every event I've been to there. The adaptation of a classic movie theater for use as a center with several venues makes The Atlas an interesting and fun place worth a visit on its own.
Off street parking is available in the neighborhood a short 2-3 blocks away from the Atlas Theater.
I walk from Union Station or NoMa metro, so no idea about parking, but many restaurants in the area with happy hour specials. Authentic German Biergarten a few doors east of theater, with great beer (i.e. NOT Bud Lite). Also a great, albeit expensive, pie place (Dangerously Delicious) a few doors down, as well. Enjoy!

Metrobus X2 stops in front of the theater.
Smith Commons is a block away from Atlas Theater and the food is excellent and moderately priced.
unless you are lucky, it will take a cruise or two arround the neighborhood to find a spot.
Nothing beats a chilli cheese dog at mid-night; Checkers is jusr a block or two away.

Check out Dangerously Delicious Pies. They're right next door and they're open til 3 am on the weekends!
Try to sit in the front row. The actors use scaffolding that runs behind the seats so you'll have to turn around at points and if you sit too far back, it can be hard to see when they go behind you and your neck will get tired.
