Listen to the soundtrack before you see the show. Sometimes it moves very fast and really helps follow the story.
The weather was sunny. I wore anything goes. we dressed business casual. saw folks dressed from jeans to sequins..
We parked in the 5th & Mission lot, grabbed dinner in SF Centre and walked to the Orpheum - about .5 mile. We also walked back to our car. Worked great!
Take BART transportation. No hassles.
We found a great Indian restaurant on Market, across the street from the theater and down to the right (if you're facing the theater). It's called Chanvi. Very inexpensive but delicious food and they have **** on Yelp!
We had dinner at Hazel's about two blocks from the theater. Great gumbo as well as the shrimp & cheesy grits. We even enjoyed an interesting cocktail before. Great service and we had plenty of time for the short walk back to the theater.
Go on a Sunday evening, get there early and finding parking on the street close to the theatre is pretty easy. Then we just walked about 6-8 blocks for an amazing dinner at Brenda's. Then we walked back and got to the theatre with 40 minutes to spare. No rushing or stress.
The weather was Sunny and warm. I wore layers, knowing the AC would be on..
We stayed at the hotel witcomb right across the street. Book on their website for best pricing. Parking is $45 a night tho.
During the week was not expecting to encounter such a problem parking...But I guess it comes with the territory in SF...

There is a parking Ap called Spot Hero that was helpful in finding $10 parking within 5 blocks of the venue.

54 Mint at Mint Plaza was a 9-min walk to the Orpheum. Incredible food, delicious cocktails, chill atmosphere (pre-theater crowd) and excellent service.
Teo Chinese restaurant on Mission just across from SOMA Grand garage ( the best place to park). It is a Hot Pot specialty place that is fun and delish
Bart takes you right in front of the theatre. It’s the best way to get there hands down
The weather was Sunny and warm. I wore Comfortable shoes. Nice jeans and a nice shirt.
